Beth Sopka has been heavily involved in the badminton community for over 25 years. She served as the president of the Massachusetts Badminton Association for nearly 20 years and has made major contributes in all national badminton events. During her presidency, Massbad (now MassBadminton) hosted numerous national events at Boston Badminton including the USA National Team Trials, Junior International Team Trials, Senior International, and US Adult Nationals. She was on the USA Badminton Board of Directors from 2016-2021 and also served as the Northeast Badminton Association President for many years. Her work has not only provided countless individuals with the opportunity to play and succeed at badminton, but has also inspired generations of athletes to continue playing and promoting badminton.
